Privacy Policy — Taxi 8 Guardamar

This privacy policy explains what personal data Taxi 8 Guardamar collects through guardamartaxitransfer.com, what it is used for, who it is shared with and what rights you have over it, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

Data controller

Andrés Felipe Ramírez Millán, holder of Taxi Licence No. 8 issued by Guardamar del Segura Town Hall (Alicante), Tax ID (NIF) 48826994H. For any matter related to your personal data, including exercising your rights, you can contact reservas@guardamartaxitransfer.com.

What data we collect

When you book a journey through the website form, we collect the following data: full name, phone number, email address, pickup point, destination, date and time of the service, number of passengers, number of suitcases, flight number and airport (when the pickup or destination is an airport) and, if you include them, any additional notes you write freely in the form. We do not collect payment details through the website: payment is made directly in the vehicle.

Please note that the "pickup point" field is free text and may include a private address. We recommend not including in the additional notes any information that is not necessary to provide the service (for example, health information or other sensitive data).

In addition, only if you accept them in the cookie notice, we collect browsing data through Google Analytics and Google Ads, as explained below and in the Cookie policy.

What we use your data for

  • Managing your booking: confirming the journey, contacting you if any detail needs clarifying, and organising the pickup.
  • Sending you the confirmation emails and, if you cancel, the cancellation email.
  • Keeping a record of bookings made, for service organisation purposes and in case we need to deal with a complaint or legal request.
  • Only if you accept analytics cookies: obtaining website usage statistics (which pages are visited, where visits come from —for example, from an ad or from our printed cards— and how many end in a booking).
  • Only if you accept advertising cookies: measuring whether a booking comes from one of our Google Ads ads.

The legal basis for managing your booking is the performance of the transport service you request by filling in the form (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR): we need this data to be able to provide the service. The legal basis for analytics and advertising is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 22.2 of the Spanish Information Society Services Act, LSSI), which you can withdraw at any time from "Cookie settings", in the footer of every page, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Who your data is shared with

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. We do use the following providers, who act as data processors (they process the data on our behalf, under our instructions):

  • Vercel Inc. — hosts the website.
  • Railway Corporation — hosts the server and the database where bookings are stored.
  • Resend — service used to send the confirmation and cancellation emails.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) — only if you accept analytics cookies. It receives browsing data (pages visited, source of the visit, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from the IP address, which Google Analytics 4 does not store) and, when you complete a booking, notice that it was made, with the type of service, the airport or station and the indicative price of the journey. It does not receive your name, phone number, email or any address.
  • Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited) — only if you accept advertising cookies. It receives a conversion signal (that a booking was completed) to measure the performance of our advertising. It does not receive your name, phone number or email: only the fact that there was a conversion and the approximate value of the journey.

Some of these providers are based in the United States or belong to groups based there (such as Google LLC). Where this involves an international transfer of data outside the European Economic Area, it is carried out under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (such as the Standard Contractual Clauses or, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision).

How long we keep your data

We keep your booking data for as long as necessary to provide the service and, afterwards, for the legally required period to handle any administrative, tax or legal liabilities arising from the transport activity. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months; the duration of each cookie is given in the Cookie policy.

Cookies

This website uses technical cookies, necessary for it to work (remembering your cookie choice and the language you pick), and, only with your consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Google Ads). You can accept or reject them separately; if you don't accept them, the website loads no Google code at all. You will find the details of each cookie, its purpose and its duration in the Cookie policy, and you can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings", in the footer.

Your rights

You can exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability by writing to reservas@guardamartaxitransfer.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the applicable regulations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the service or in the applicable regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
